Today I met a girl who broke her mobile
phone. Nothing new, we do it all the time. Not just with mobile
phones, but other things as well such as pens, cameras, watches, and
little doo dads here and there. The interesting thing the phone
seemed like it was sandwiched between two heavy objects. So I asked
her “Did a truck run over it?” She blushed. “Well?” I
persisted. “Well you see, I had the phone in my back pocket and….”
Ding, Ding, Ding, not talking about her gluteus, but the point. The
back pocket is an extreme no no with respects to cell phones. Duh? So
the alternatives? Buy a friggin case. A $10-$25 investment can save
you a lot of money. The only draw back is it takes away from the
great stories I’ve heard about mobile phones. “Hear the one about
the time my phone fell in the toilet?” Well, that’s a story worth
cherishing.
