Homeless but Wireless
I took a short course on City Government at UC Berkeley recently and we had to create an individual research proposal that we felt would better the city. If you've ever visited Berkeley you've probably seen a lot of homeless people and you might question as why such a problem exist. A "light bulb!" and "Aha!" later I visited homeless shelters and spoke to staff and volunteers there asking them the crux of the matter as to why people are homeless. After sifting through various areas within the realm of homelessness I came upon homeless communication. I know it sounds crazy, why do you think I'm putting this out?

MizPee - Where to go on the go When we think "Pee", we most often relate it to jokes or one of those names we used to call other kids when we were five. NewScientistTech reports Nokia is proposing a warning system that will detect lightning strikes. How so you may ask? A Lightning bolt is an electric current which emits radio waves; the proposed system will detect these waves and process it on a cell phone application that will give information if the lightning strikes are nearing. Basically, there are many receivers in phones such as Bluetooth, FM, GSM, etc., which can be tuned to pick up the radio waves.
